Ben is a rising senior studying Product Design with a minor in International History and Culture at Stanford University. He grew up in Hong Kong and Israel and is Jewish, with family from America and Israel. Ben is passionate about tech entrepreneurship, poetry, media studies, and international politics, informed by his experience as a third-culture kid and by working full-time on startups through COVID. He recently completed a term at Oxford University, where he studied poetry.

Ben is joining Design for Bangladesh as a Teaching Fellow. He believes our interdisciplinary version of design-thinking that also integrates programming and policy analysis is crucial because the intersection of design and international issues is rich with critical solutions to high-friction problems. Ben is excited to join Design for Bangladesh because it’s an opportunity to share his love of design with people who love to learn. He believes Design for Bangladesh has an opportunity to enable students in their journeys of doing good — a journey he wants to help enable.
