Faith is a rising senior studying Product Design at Stanford University. She is from San Diego, CA, and is Chinese-American as her family is from China. Faith is passionate about accessibility and inclusivity because she believes that every individual should have equal access to opportunities and resources regardless of ability, background, or circumstances to contribute to a more empathetic world. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, picnicking, and pursuing various creative activities such as art, photography, and lego-building.
Faith is joining Design for Bangladesh as a Teaching Fellow. She believes our interdisciplinary version of design-thinking that also integrates programming and policy analysis is crucial because it inspires innovative problem-solving while encouraging designers to consider the broader context in which their designs will operate, thus fostering an approach that lends itself to solutions that drive systemic impact. Faith is excited to join Design for Bangladesh because she believes that this program offers an incredible opportunity for students in Bangladesh to learn and develop transformative skills that they otherwise might not have access to. She hopes to empower them to create meaningful impact within their communities and open doors to new opportunities.
