Anika is a sophomore studying Electrical Engineering at Eastern University in Dhaka. She is from the Cumila District in Bangladesh and is the first in her family to attend university in Bangladesh. Anika is interested in the realm of sustainable development in Bangladesh. Her aim is to promote renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, and to combat climate change. She encourages the adoption of eco-friendly practices in industries, agriculture, and transportation in hopes of ensuring a greener and more sustainable future for Bangladesh. In her free time, she loves reading books, traveling, gardening, and cooking.

She believes that design thinking will enhance her problem-solving abilities by fostering a human-centered approach, empathy, and creative ideation. By applying this methodology, Anika is confident that she can contribute to addressing complex challenges in Bangladesh and beyond, promoting innovative and effective solutions for the betterment of society.
